Wow - really sad to see this.... Take a look at the former Horsethief road that's served as the finishing climb of RAWROD the past couple of years....
Yep - it's thrashed beyond thrashed. Came across this on the
Poison Spider Bike shop blog that provides some detail. Feel lucky to have made it down for Kenny's RAWROD ride a couple of times before this happened, this climb out of the river bottom was one of the top highlights of an epic loop. Sounds like some hike a bike work is still an option, but it won't be the same looking up and seeing that impressive road not there anymore. Hope there's enough hillside left to rebuild it....
