Looks can be decieving

The commute down the hill to work is pretty most days, but doesn't usually merit having to wait for a parking spot....in the middle of the road....


There's a small village called Herriman under that stuff in the photo above...

And a slightly larger city and burbs somewhere out there in this one... Oquirrh's to the left, Wasatch Range to the right, Draper bench on the bottom.

Woke up to a beautiful morning in Suncrest, and drove around the corner to this stunning panorama - it looks nice and pretty until you get down to about 4,700 feet and take your last big breath before holding it the rest of the day. The illusion of it being pretty had burned off by afternoon and revealed the nastiness that is the valley inversion - which isn't quite so photogenic as to stop traffic. Time to get out the bird flu masks...
